Drew Samsoe earned the title “Miss Drew” during her seven years as a nanny.  She also learned countless valuable lessons durning these years,  including how to dodge flying frisbees, books, and teacups, how to read the same picture book 3-7 times in a row, and how to make anything out of cardboard.

Drew knew from an early age that she wanted to be an artist, but her Illustration degree from Maryland Institute College of Art, along with her experience as a nanny, solidified her desire to create pictures for children.  As a picture book illustrator, Drew hopes to master visual storytelling that kindles the imagination, shares joy, and inspires curiosity in the minds and hearts of its viewers.

Miss Drew currently resides on a quiet street in Philadelphia with her kind husband and crazy cat.
